Monday - 75 minutes easy + hill strides

Out solo this morning for a lap around North Head. Checked the program last night and saw that 75 minutes (instead of the traditional 60 minutes) was penciled in for this morning. So up even earlier than usual. Once again, it was pitch black running along the beachfront. Felt fine again today, another positive sign. Ended up holding a very effortless 4:34 average, at 126 beats per minute. Finished near Raglan St, so did the hill strides there. Another humid morning, but it looks like we are in for some respite over the next few days. No time for a swim this morning (the water is too cold anyway)!
