Sunday - 30km
True to my word, I kept the pace easier this morning. And I’m glad that I did, as the temperature really started climbing during the second half, already up to 26 degrees. Just ran the usual Sunday long run along the coast, home to Shelly to Warriewood to home. Feeling nice and relaxed for most of it, but started to feel the heat towards the end. It wasn’t killing me, but it just wasn’t as comfortable as the start. Got home in 2:07:56 (4:14’s), which seems about right for today. As much as I don’t want to, I’m going to take a rest day tomorrow - prevention is better than cure! Taking one day off tomorrow is better than going weeks or months into overtraining. Time for a swim I think!
