Stuck to one of my New Year's resolutions this morning - that is, to truly ensure that I run my easy runs 'easy!' Sounds simple, and today it certainly was. Couldn't care less how low my heart rate was, nor how slow my kilometre splits were. Ran purely on feel, and really enjoyed it as I took in my surroundings (and a few people passed out along the esplanade)! A very comfortable 4:27 min/km pace average, at 121 beats per minute. Yoga and a swim followed by some muesli to kick start 2016!
