What a difference it makes backing off the pace of the long run. Felt as if I could push a lot harder today (which I mostly held back from), and the pace was much better than normal - again, not exactly aiming for this. Three laps, averaging 4:09's. Slightly higher heart rate at 130. Strides, yoga, a quick swim in the ocean before heading into uni - not a bad way to start the week.
