Thursday - 15km
Much tougher conditions this morning with a strong southerly wind, a warmer 22 degrees and some more humidity. Nevertheless, I pulled up really well from yesterday’s run, feeling strong and bouncy once again. Made the most of the conditions on my way up to North Head, telling myself that things were only going to get easier on the way home with a tailwind and a net downhill. Got home in 55:40 (3:43’s), quite a good time with that wind. Tried out my brand new pair of Mizuno Wave Hitogami 4’s this morning, and I was impressed. I’ve got a tiny niggle in my left calf, so decided not to risk any further damage by forgoing the sprints this week. Nevertheless, I feel that I’m back on track once again!
