Wednesday medium long run (20km) + 5 x 100m strides

This is probably the day of the week that I struggle with the most in terms of motivation. Smack bang in the middle of the week, coming off the back of a hard day, yet trying to psyche myself up for another hard day tomorrow. To make matters worse, whilst the pace of Wednesday is easy, 20km is still a fair way to run. Especially at an easy pace, this takes around 90 minutes including strides. So today was no different, just went along with my heart rate and got the run done. As usual, felt better in the second 10km. Averaged 4:23 min/km pace, which is what I would call my perfect 'easy' pace at this point in time. As usual, finished off on the grass with some strides.
