Monday - 40 minutes easy

Sometimes going for a run is the best thing to get over a bad race! Certainly was the case this morning. Got up at the leisurely hour of 6:50am for a super easy 40 minutes. Was very sore, but definitely loosened up as the run went on. Going to move on from yesterday's disappointment (will remember the previous Saturday though) and shift my focus towards the Launceston 10. Decided I am also going to go back to racing and running purely on feel, with the result being the primary goal - the finishing time will simply be secondary. The following week looks decent - but next week looks close to murder! No strides this week. 8.57km at 4:40's.
