Sunday long run (30km)

Strong easterly wind this morning, so not really helpful nor a hinderance! Could really feel my legs protesting from yesterday's hills, especially going over the headlands - and even more so coming down (those eccentric quadriceps contractions)! Nevertheless, felt strong - as I generally do despite the fatigue post-hills. Kept an eye on the heart rate the whole time, trying to keep it no higher than 150 beats per minute (except on the uphills). Ended up finishing in 1 hour, 54 minutes and 30 seconds - 3:49's at 149 beats per minute. Got another interesting week of new sessions planned for this week (not Thursday, but Tuesday and Saturday will be interesting)!
